Asian American Film Images are listed within the "Film Section" to document the many triumphs, obstacles, incorrect racial stereotypes, actors, directors and films that have provided the "base of information" that the general public utilizes to form a perception of the Asian/Asian Pacific American communities .

Prominent Music Artists that are signed to major record deals and/or have achieved substantial music sales either through CD sales and/or downloads can be found in the "Music Section." The vast spectrum of music genres is listed to highlight the creative diversity of these artists

WHY US ASIANS?

To Serve as the central Internet location in providing accurate imagery in films, resources, articles, politics, artists, music, business, events and the history of the Asian Pacific American / US Asians communities.

To Facilitate an accurate understanding how a communities' past dictates past stereotypes, to providing additional insights to where our futures lie and that decides what actions are taken today.

To Communicate the dreams, endeavors, visions, goals and future of the Asian Pacific American communities.

To Provide (through our consultation, dialogue, events, panel discussions, etc.) an effective and accurate means of incorporating the US Asians / Asian Pacific American communities within the tapestry of the general public.

To Locate, identify and work with US Asians / Asian Pacific American organizations that want to participate in actions of providing unity for all our respective communities.

To Feature companies identify and work with US Asians / Asian Pacific American organizations that want to participate in actions of providing unity for all our respective communities.

 

WHAT"S NEW FOR US ASIANS?

Multi-cultural and Cross-cultural Communities' fast-growing influence and inclusion of the Asian/Asian Pacific American communities has prompted a series of upcoming interviews and features on artists from these communities and the multinational companies that financially supports/targets these communites.

Subjects Covered will include the following:
Acceptance of Asian communities/consumers
Major multinational companies marketing
Usage "New Media" options to target these communities
Development of US Asians' Mobile ITV network for interviews

Developing Annually Televised Events that will highlight the Asian communities acceptance within the multi-cultural and cross-cultural communities. These events will also feature Hollywood celebrating the artists or prominent artists of Asian descent.

 
 

WHO IS US ASIANS?

J. Lee is the founder of US Asians, an online portal that documents the history, films, music, communities, current news, information from Asia, online news and entertainment news..

His Entertainment Experience spans over several decades that includes working with Hall of Fame rock&roll legends, major film studios, at the major television networks, producing/arranging for major music artists, film production and event coordination..

His Event Producing Experience includes events at or for MGM Grand Arena/Allan Tam & Wynners and Hollywood Park Race Track (Jenny/Alex To), Leon Lai, Andy Lau, Inglewood Forum (featuring Stephanie Sun), Universal Studios' Global Theater (Beijing Olympics Event), Pasadena Civic Auditorium (Beijing Olympics Event) and others.

His Film Industry Experience includes being involved negative pickups (Columbia/Tri-Star, Cannon Group), strategic planning (Disney, MGM/Cannon), movie insurance & presales at Cannon Films / MGM, video distribution (Republic Films) and film/script/budget development (Cannon Group, Sony Pictures, MTM Productions).

His Music Credits includes working with Don Was, Brian Wilson, Paul Jackson Jr., Sam Phillips, Pediatric Aids Project, Tower of Power horn section, The Waters, Van Dyke Parks, Burt Bacharach/Hall David, members of Toto, Rob Wasserman and many others. Their goal is to be a "Town-Crier" to share the stories, struggles, victories, personal insights, goals, dreams, obstacles, loves, observations and joys of the Asian/Asian Pacific American communities.
Definition
As an entertainer, their main purpose is to provide an escape (via laughter, sharing of fantasies, song & dance, theater, etc.) and comfort through the arts while meeting the needs of their employer.
     
One of their main priorities is to share their personal tales of their respective lives, victories, obstacles, struggles, relationships, dreams, etc. that are part of their every day lives. ("No one will know who we are until we know who we are" (Malcolm X)
Stories
Their main purpose is to mainly provide soothing stories and/or innocous tales of romantic relationships within a comforting musical backdrop.
     
By incorporating important historical information, one gains an accurate perspective(s) of the various reasons behind the many stories that are being shared through songs.
History
Entertainers' priorities and purpose does not include providing any type of perspectives beyond tales of romantic love shared through their songs.
     
Knowledge of our communities' artists (past and present) and their works are important to affirm their achievements, recognition of their place in history and to learn from their respective stories.
Past Works
Providing the ability to forget the past, present and/or future through vocal or music ability is the main priorities of entertainers
